Technical data - Flock type: viscose (standard colours), polyamide (neon colours)/Adhesive: copolyester-hotmelt/Flock length [mm]: 0.50 +/- 10%/Liner: PET film, self-adhesive | Transfer conditions - Temperature: 160°C/Pressure: 2.0 bar [medium pressure]/Time: 15 sec. | Wash resistance: 60°C/Use only colour-safe and mild detergents/Suitable for dry cleaning; Perchloroethylene (Tetrachloroethylene)/Wash textiles inside out | TUBITHERM® PLT is a high-quality, heat-sealable flock film based on viscose fibres or polyamide fibres with excellent brilliance and velvety texture. | TUBITHERM® PLT is based on ecologically harmless raw materials and is free of PVC and plasticisers. | TUBITHERM® PLT has excellent cutting and weeding properties and even detailed logos and extremely small lettering are cuttable. | Suitable for lettering on textiles such as on sport, leisure and work wear and for materials used in advertising and design. | TUBITHERM® PLT can be cut with all current plotters. We recommend using a flock knife (60°). | After weeding the cut flock is transferred by heat press. The PET liner should be removed warm after thermal transfer (hot peel). Afterwards we recommend pressing the material with the same parameters (approx. 2 sec.). | After washing, the appearance of the flock surface is not affected by adherent fibres/fluff. | TUBITHERM® PLT bonds well to cotton, cotton/polyester mixtures, natural and synthetic fabrics. | Nylon and textiles with hydrophobic impregnation are not suitable for heat transfer. | If the specified temperature and pressure requirements are not met during the heat transfer printing process, secure and permanent adhesion of the flock film cannot be guaranteed. | We recommend carrying out an application test on original materials. | Due to the various influences resulting from the production and transfer of the transfer film, the nature of the materials and the washing and cleaning conditions, product liability can only apply to unprocessed materials.
